PATIENT STORY
Last weekend SU2C celebrated Mother’s Day by honoring women who face this insidious disease with strength and courage, as well as those who are working to find a cure. Kelly also celebrated Mother’s Day – because she is now cancer free! A clinical trial supported in part by Stand Up To Cancer not only saved Kelly’s life after her rectal cancer diagnosis, but allowed her to avoid standard cancer treatments and grow her family with the birth of her daughter just last year.

SCIENCE AND INNOVATION
SU2C AI INNOVATION SUMMIT
This month, Stand Up To Cancer President & CEO Dr. Julian Adams and several SU2C scientists and researchers took part in the SU2C AI Innovation Summit. This event brought together experts in clinical data sciences and early detection diagnostics to understand the significant promise for early detection and improved patient outcomes using AI.

SU2C IN THE NEWS
Since 2008 SU2C has proudly worked with Major League Baseball to help raise awareness and fund groundbreaking cancer research. One of SU2C’s funded researchers, Uri Tabori, M.D., had the honor of throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at the Toronto Blue Jays baseball game at Rogers Centre in Toronto, ON.
Dr. Tabori is the head of neuro-oncology at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and is the leader of a Pediatric SU2C Catalyst® team that is working to discover new immunotherapy approaches for children with cancer.
