It is anticipated that an honoree’s name will be on the plane for approximately 18 months, which is the lifespan of the decal. However, American Airlines reserves the right to remove the plane wrap or take the airplane out of commission at any time, in its sole discretion.

Given the size of the model plane and number of names submitted, unfortunately you will not be able to read your loved one’s name on the model plane. However, in early October you will have the opportunity to customize the model with a plaque commemorating your loved one.
