“Baseball Believes” with Steve Carell, Colin Hanks and Ken Jeong
Steve Carell, Colin Hanks and Ken Jeong are featured in a new Stand Up To Cancer campaign, titled “Baseball Believes,” filmed at Boston’s Fenway Park that celebrates amazing plays from Major League Baseball’s Postseason history. The six spots, which include the actual broadcasts of the historic plays, connect believing in miracles on the playing field with a shared vision of ending cancer. The spots will begin airing in early September in stadiums, on MLB Network, FOX and ESPN, and will continue through the 2013 baseball season.

Channel 4 & Cancer Research UK To Launch ‘Stand Up To Cancer’ In The UK
Channel 4 and Cancer Research UK are joining forces to launch ‘Stand Up To Cancer’ in the UK. Television, music and film stars will come together in October in a new national fundraising event to galvanise the public in the fight against cancer. The on-air season will build over a whole week on Channel 4, culminating in a live fundraising entertainment extravaganza.

Alison Sweeney to Appear at MLB All-Star Game
tand Up To Cancer Ambassador Alison Sweeney, host of The Biggest Loser, will join Major League Baseball, Hall of Famer George Brett, former Royals Mike Sweeney and Jeff Montgomery, and American Idol winner David Cook to show her support for cancer research and education at the MLB All-Star Game Charity 5K & Fun Run presented by Nike taking place on Sunday, July 8 in downtown Kansas City’s Power and Light District. Sweeney will run in the event and will help begin the event and cheer on participants at the start line. She is replacing Kristin Chenoweth who is no longer able to attend the event. MLB will donate 100% of net proceeds from the event to three charities supporting cancer research and awareness - Prostate Cancer Foundation, Stand Up To Cancer and the Greater Kansas City Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
