The 2012 Harris Poll Non-Profit EquiTrend (EQ) study measures the brand health of 87 non-profit brands across seven important categories, including Youth Interest, Animal Welfare, Health, Social Service, Disability, International Aid, and Environmental. Harris Poll EquiTrend provides the insight our communities, corporate sponsors, and non-profit organizations require to make informed decisions about donations and overall support.

Be Amazing, Stand Up and Volunteer
In the highly anticipated movie The Amazing Spider-ManTM, in theaters July 3, 2012, Peter Parker finds that being a hero isn’t about having amazing powers - it is about how he chooses to use those powers. On Tuesday, June 26, Americans all across the country will discover the same thing as Sony Pictures Entertainment’s program “Be Amazing, Stand Up and Volunteer” celebrates the hero in all of us. On that day, people of all ages in cities across the country will come together to give their time and energy to help their neighbors - and the day will support Stand Up To Cancer, which funds accelerated and innovative cancer research.

Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) is proud to collaborate with the upcoming Columbia Picturesfilm, The Amazing Spider-ManTM, for a line of special co-branded t-shirts. Launching May 18th, and just in time for the movie’s summer debut on July 3rd, these exclusive new designs feature both the iconic The Amazing Spider-Man artwork and hero messaging encouraging everyone to take action against the disease. The Safeway Foundation and SU2C Raise Awareness and Funds in the Fight Against Prostate Cancer
Actress and Stand Up To Cancer Ambassador Angie Harmon will appear in a new prostate cancer campaign on behalf of Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) and The Safeway Foundation. The campaign is designed to raise funds and increase awareness for the fight against the disease, which currently affects more than two million American men and remains the second-leading cause of cancer death for men in the United States. 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime.

Emmy & Tony Award Winner Kristin Chenoweth to Participate at MLB All-Star Game Charity 5K & Fun Run
Award-winning actress, singer and Stand Up To Cancer Ambassador Kristin Chenoweth will join Major League Baseball, Hall of Famer George Brett and five-time Royals All-Star and MLB Network analyst Mike Sweeney to show her support for cancer research and education at the MLB All-Star Game Charity 5K & Fun Run presented by Nike, taking place on Sunday, July 8 in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Chenoweth will help begin the event and cheer on participants at the start line. The MLB All-Star Game Charity 5K and Fun Run presented by Nike will benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation, Stand Up To Cancer and the Greater Kansas City Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure with Major League Baseball donating 100% of net profits to the organizations.
