SWAGG” to Make Donations to Stand Up To Cancer for a Portion of the Gift Values Offered to VIP Guests During the Sundance Film Festival
January 11, 2011 – WHAT: SWAGG™ is a new mobile application that is changing the way of gifting. The application, that allows consumers to buy, send and swap SWAGG GIFTS, as well as manage offers and makes plastic gift cards and rewards digital, will present the “House of SWAGG” – a VIP gifting (with a conscience) boutique in Park City, Utah for a limited engagement during the Sundance Film Festival. The “House of SWAGG” will offer a new twist to an old standard by providing a cash donation to Stand Up To Cancer (www.standup2cancer.org) for a portion of the gift values offered to VIP guests. Stand Up To Cancer raises funds to accelerate groundbreaking cancer research and engages the public in supporting the scientists working to end the disease. VIP guests may choose to have all of their gifts donated directly to the charity instead of taking them for themselves.
This unique “gifting with a cause” suite will feature the stylings of Jackie Brander’s AskJackieB, formally of Fred Segal Fun, which will be a hot spot for celebrities and media featuring a wide variety of brands and designers including: American Apparel, Cavi, Contraband, Crocs, Enjoy Lighting, got2b, Harry & David, Hint Water, I-Renew, popchips, Samsung, Sorel, Stella Artois, Sweetbreath, Hint, lia sophia, Patron, Solstice, Under Armour and Wellensteyn.
