WELCOME TO THE STAND UP TO CANCER FUNDRAISER TOOLKIT

Thank you for choosing to support Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) and its collaborative cancer research programs through your fundraiser! We are grateful for your support and interest in raising awareness of this important cause.

OFFLINE DONATIONS

Important note: We do not recommend that you accept offline donations in bulk and write one check to Stand Up To Cancer. This is for two reasons:

 

  • The IRS may consider this income and you could potentially be taxed.
  • Since the check is coming from you and not each donor, you will receive the tax receipt and not the donors.
CHECKS

Checks can be accepted and added to your fundraiser total, if the check memo and/or Check Donation Form (see below) clearly indicate the name and email associated with your online fundraiser.

 

Please make your check payable to Stand Up To Cancer, and send with the Check Donation Form to the following address. SU2C will provide a tax receipt to the account holder named on the check.

CASH

Unfortunately, we cannot accept cash donations. If you receive cash donations from donors for your fundraiser, please convert these to a cashier’s check and mail to the address given below. Be sure to include the Cashier Check Donation Form, provided below, noting each donor’s contribution and personal contact information (name/address) so we can provide a tax receipt to each donor.

GOODS & SERVICES

Unfortunately, we cannot generate a tax receipt for a business that donates goods or services to your event, as the donation does not go directly to Stand Up To Cancer.

MATERIALS

We encourage you to use the promotional materials we have developed, such as the logos and placards below, to support your fundraiser, as applicable. The following guidelines set the standards for communicating Stand Up To Cancer’s visual and verbal identity in order to protect our brand.

 

SU2C requires the review and prior written approval of any and all uses of the SU2C marks prior to production, publication, distribution, display or use in any manner. This may be amended or modified at any time at SU2C’s sole discretion. Please submit any materials you create to support@su2c.org for review and approval, and allow 10-15 business days for our response.

APPROVED LOGOS

SU2C permits the use of certain SU2C logos on printed materials for the sole purpose of promoting an approved event. SU2C requires the review and prior written approval of any and all uses of the SU2C marks prior to production, publication, distribution, or use in any manner. Please submit materials to support@su2c.org for review and approval, and allow 10-15 business days for our response.

ASSETS

Please feel free to use the following SU2C assets below for your fundraiser, at your own expense.

VIDEO AND MUSIC ASSETS

If you are interested in using SU2C videos or music for your fundraiser, please email support@su2c.org and describe how you plan to incorporate them.

MERCHANDISE

RESALE

Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) merchandise items are not available for resale.

DISCOUNTS AND BULK ORDERING

Discounts: If you would like to purchase merchandise through the SU2C shop, we can provide a 20% discount code that is good for one order (no minimum purchase).

 

Bulk: The minimum order for bulk is 72-120 units, depending on the product. Not all products are available for bulk orders.

CUSTOMIZED MERCHANDISE

If you are considering creating custom merchandise for your fundraiser using the SU2C logo and/or name, please read the following information and follow the steps below. Please Note: Shirts may not be printed without SU2C’s approval.

 

SU2C requires the review and prior written approval of any and all uses of the SU2C marks prior to production, publication, distribution or use in any manner.

 

If you create custom merchandise for your fundraiser:
 

  1. Please submit a clear, clean image of the design you’d like to print to support@su2c.org for review and approval.
  2. Include information about your event, including how the merchandise will be used, the timeline for your event, and any other important details.
  3. Allow 10-15 business days for our response.

SOCIAL MEDIA ENGAGEMENT
