Communications Writer

The Communications Writer reports to the head of Communications and will be responsible for writing and editing content for both external and internal audiences, based on information gathering, as well as collaboration with applicable individuals/departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in science and healthcare, with previous experience requiring an understanding of medical and life sciences terminology, and the ability to quickly grasp and translate complex scientific issues to tell a story in simple, straightforward, consumer-facing language.

SU2C Director of Research Administration

SU2C Director of Research Administration works under the direction of the Chief Scientific Administrative Officer (CSAO) to provide leadership in developing, implementing and managing SU2C’s research administration policies and procedures and establishing and overseeing contract management systems for scientific projects administered by SU2C.  The position will be responsible for ensuring adherence to relevant compliance, ethics, safety, legal and regulatory standards for SU2C and all funded projects. These matters include but are not limited to Conflicts of Interest and Commitment, Transfers of Value, Confidentiality, Non-Disclosure, Research Ethics, Data Security, Privacy, Export Controls, Human Subjects, Animal Care and Welfare, HIPAA, Laboratory Safety, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Anti-bribery and Anti-corruption, and other relevant regulations. SU2C is looking for an energetic, go-getter with strong research administration and contract management experience in healthcare/science/non-profit sectors. This critical position carries a high degree of visibility and requires close collaboration with team members across SU2C along with external partners. The SU2C Director of Research Administration is a passionate, ambitious, professional who can deliver results in an organization and a fast-paced environment.

Director of Human Resources

The Director of Human Resources is responsible for overseeing the direction and executing key programs and divisions on all Human Resources related matters for both the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) and the Stand Up To Cancer organization. As a part of the leadership team, this position will design, develop and implement people initiatives to help drive Stand Up To Cancer’s performance and growth. This includes a variety of projects in areas such as on-boarding, employee relations, training and development, performance management, HR policy development and interpretation, employee engagement and compensation. This is a unique position that requires strategic thinking and the ability to deliver on day-to-day tasks.

Assistant to SVP, Communications

The Assistant provides administrative and communications support to the SVP, Communications. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to masterfully arrange a complex executive calendar, book travel, manage expense reports and other administrative tasks, while also providing junior level communications support, as required. The candidate should possess superior organizational/ communication skills, be detail–oriented, computer proficient, resourceful, maintain an impeccable level of professionalism, and have the ability to multi-task. The candidate should also have an interest in communications and basic knowledge of media list development and monitoring, media relations, and event management. This position will be based out of the Stand Up To Cancer office in Los Angeles, CA.
